The Anne Arundel County Police Department Southern District would like to invite all interested community members to attend our Police Community Relations Council Meeting this coming Thursday, January 16th starting at 730pm. The meeting will take place in the Community Room at Southern District Police Station.  Meetings are typically the third Thursday of each month at 7:30pm.

The meeting is open to all members of our community so if you know anyone interested, please let them know.

The meeting will discuss recent crime trends in our area- including theft from vehicles, drug trends, and scrap/precious metal theft. Plus ways to help reduce criminal activity in our communities. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and ask questions of officers, detectives, and supervisors of Southern District.

Our hope is that by forming working relationships with members of our communities, we’ll all be able to help make Southern District and the communities you live in safer for everyone.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact the liaison:

Sgt. Gregory C Speed
District Detective Supervisor
